We can stop the pandemic. It’s up to us. It’s up to you-
I wish the powers that be would just follow the advice of the experts, but it would appear that no one wants to even pause the world for a couple weeks in favor of continuing daily activity, risking lives and engaging the chaos that has been created. We have the resources to do this. There is no excuse or reason not to do this. It’s up to us. It’s up to you-
When the power goes out, we stay home and wait. When a snow storm socks us in, we stay home and wait. This time is no different, except that when we don’t stay home, people could and do die.
New Zealand did this as did other countries. It works and it gets us to an advantage point over the virus. We must pull the band-aid off quickly, meaning to stay isolated for the virus to dissolve in the streets and to lockdown the vectors so they will not infect others and hopefully they will recover themselves.
It’s the only way and we proved this with SARS and MERS. It’s up to us. It’s up to you-
I sincerely hope the world finds a way out of this situation sooner than later. I am just one voice amidst the billions of people trying to survive, but at the end of the day, the answer is in our hands and in our ability to just stop, pause and be still.
