The Coronavirus continues to spread because people are still out and about trying to maintain a normal daily life.
The only defense we have to stop the spread is to stay away from people. Current statistics show that 95% of the cases are mild. We may have it and don’t know it, so we need to inhibit the virus from finding a host. Without hosts, the virus will become unviable as a contagion and will become inactive.
Current studies conclude that the virus can survive for up to 72 hours on a surface. During that time, it becomes less capable to infect a host. If all of us, just stayed put for three days, the virus would only survive within current infected people.
If you have the virus, you need to isolate yourself for two weeks. During that time, natural defenses will eradicate the virus from your body.
People whose defenses are weak, are susceptible to becoming critically ill, which is why we must not become a vector to spread the virus. Which is why we need to stop interacting with anyone outside your current family circle.
Many, many people have had what we generically call the flu. Most of us survive the flu, but the World Health Organization estimates that globally, 290,000 to 650,000 people die from the flu every year.
Until we can limit the number of cases and start to establish natural defenses within ourselves to battle Coronavirus, the pandemic will continue until everyone is infected.
Social Distancing is our only defense, and we can only hope that our efforts will limit the existence of the microorganism in the months and years to come.
