During the pandemic, all businesses should run as a zero-profit organization. The concept is different from a non-profit or not-for-profit business, each of which have excess income.
In these times, when everyone is scrambling to survive, all goods and services should be produced and distributed at cost. This would allow the full sharing of resources.
There will still be shortages, but when and where possible, local communities can pool and distribute resources to those in need and ration as much as possible.
We all must share to survive.
