Light falls into a darkened sky-

Hesitantly, I see not clearly, once was-

Unobservable and gaunt, there in front of me-

I stare and cannot see- I close my eyes-

Turn and away to sleep- Till dawn comes at will-

And once again I see once was not there-

Still and Alone- Nothing waiting- Nothing home-

Tis gone- I remain- Tis day- I walk- I run-
