in all our years-
and there are many of them-

we have never encountered anyone-
more capable than him-

on projects past,
on many a time,

the answer to a problem,
we could not find-

we would go to him-
he would smile and jest,

and never make
us think he was the best-

but we knew he was-

then he would stop what he was doing,
and he did a lot-
to find out what had tied our minds,
into a knot-

and as he talked,
and we would hear,
the answer would become clear-

we’d thank him farewell,
and bid him goodbye-

until next time pray tell,
and now we ask why-

in all our years-
and they number a few-

we have never encountered anyone-
more capable than You.
