Some say time does not stand still-

It moves as we, on and forward, up and down, left and right-

And through all of this, we sleep and wake,
we live and find joy, and hope and love,
and believe that, perhaps it could,
if only for a day, if only for a moment-

And then we realize… it’s true-

Time does not stand still for me or you-

I think tho, it could ❤

In the moment of an embrace,
when you take time to hold and hug,
and let those you love, feel what you feel,
know what you know and that you care
for them with all you are-

Some say time does not stand still,
but I know better and in the still of our embrace,
