The featured image is a work of art from Andy Chase Cundiff. I normally like to credit an image with a link to the artist’s website, but have not found a definitive source for it. Andy is a talented musician as well. A few searches found reference to others who used his artwork for their Empty Nest articles, which I include here. They are informative and useful and help to sort the feelings that prompted me to post this short musing.
