Sometimes your up and sometimes your down-

but you know that feeling,

when you whoosh through the waiting crowd,

and your on your way back up to the tippy, tippy top?

That feeling that thrills you,

and sometimes scares you-

but when on top and when it stops-

What a Wonderful Happy feeling!

In all of those many Ferris wheels that I have ridden,

My Little Maria has always,

always made me smile-

My Little Maria has always been, for me,

the top of the Ferris wheel-

and I smile every time I think of her-
